Storm victims say thanks

By JONATHON HOWARD

ROSEHILL couple Maree and Joe Gray have extended their deepest gratitude to the local community after they came close to financial ruin following a freak storm last month.

The Grays were severely impacted by the recent storm super cell which devastated several Pratten and Bony Mountain properties, as well as impacting Rosehill.
The Grays had asked for help to sell their hay stocks, which had been left exposed after their 200-foot-long shed was blown away.
“Nearly all the hay has now sold,” Mrs Gray said.
“We’re extremely grateful to the community, our neighbours and residents for answering our call for help.”
The family is now awaiting quotes to repair the damaged shed.
“The sale of our hay should help see us through winter and we’re still waiting for quotes to come back on the shed.”
Anyone wanting to inquire about the remaining hay, or for future orders, can contact Mrs Gray on 4661 4059.
