COUNTRY music star Troy Cassar-Daley is recovering after undergoing throat surgery in the USA.
Troy noticed a reduction in his vocal range while touring his award winning album ’Home’.
He was subsequently diagnosed with a nodule and several serious vocal chord ruptures.
He underwent vocal surgery in Boston, USA, by world renowned laryngeal surgeon, Dr Steven Zeitels, surgeon to Adele, Keith Urban, Steve Tyler, John Mayer, Roger Daltrey and Lionel Richie.
Troy is now recovering in Boston on complete vocal rest for six more weeks. The diagnosis is good and Troy is looking forward to performing with the Queensland Pops Orchestra for the Queensland Festival in July and touring with mate Adam Harvey performing songs from their new album The Great Country Songbook released 14 June.
Troy will perform tracks from his latest album at the Mountview Music Muster in Glen Aplin on 6 October.
