Missing girl found safe and well

Police and emergency services searching for a missing child near Warwick have located the child safe and well.

At about 3pm yesterday, Friday 20 April, the three year old girl was reported missing along with the family dog from a property at Cherry Gully, about 30km south-east of Warwick.

An extensive land and air search was conducted with the assistance of the State Emergency Service (SES), Polair and Rescue 511.

At approximately 8am today, Saturday, the child and dog were located on the family property approximately 2km from the home.

The child was located with minor cuts and abrasions.

Police would like to thank all of the people involved in the search and successful location of the child.
