Grant raises cancer funds

Ashleigh Grant is a contender for Miss Rodeo Australia 2018.

Miss Rodeo Australia (MRA) 2018 entrant Ashleigh Grant is fund-raising big time ahead of the judging on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 January, to be held in Warwick.
Ashleigh – who was the 2016 Warwick Rodeo Queen – said contestants would be judged on horsemanship, personal interviews/knowledge, personality and appearance.
“We will have to deliver three speeches throughout the judging,” Ashleigh told the Free Times.
“I am fund-raising for Blush Cancer Care Inc.
“Their objective is to raise funds that will enhance the care of breast cancer patients in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
“At the New Year’s Eve Rodeo, I will be holding a campdraft for the volunteers, committee members and cattle sponsors who are involved with the Warwick Rodeo and Campdraft.
“It is a way I can give back to our hard working volunteers who often miss out on having a run during the week in October.
“I will also have a feature steer ride at the Rodeo and a $1000 Board – so one lucky person will go into the New Year, $1000 richer.”
