Entries are now open for all categories of Showgirl and Rural Ambassador in the 2018 Warwick Showgirl Quest.
The age groups for the Showgirl quest are –
* Junior Showgirl, 12-14 years – this age group has been added in this year as there had been interest from younger girls in the past and to try to get more people involved
* Teen showgirl, 15-17 years
* Showgirl, 18-28 years
The Rural Ambassador is open to male or female entrants and they can be single or married. The age groups are –
* Junior Rural Ambassador, 15-19 years – this age group is new, the Quest has never had a junior age category before
* Rural Ambassador, 20-30 years
The judging day is 17 March 2018, with the presentation night held that same night for Junior and Teen Showgirl, Junior Rural Ambassador and Overall Fund-raiser.
The Rural Ambassador and Warwick Showgirl will be announced at the opening of the show on the night of Friday 23 March 2018.
Quest co-ordinator Angela Hamilton says it’s “a good opportunity to build confidence, meet new people, see different aspects of the show and experience behind the scenes of some areas of the show”.
Anyone wanting an entry form or more information can contact the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society office on 4661 9060 or Angela Hamilton on 0438 714 955.
