STANTHORPE’S Divas and Debutantes will present an eclectic evening of song on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February.
As Time Goes By, at Stanthorpe Little Theatre will introduce some new youthful talent showcasing a selection of solos, duets and group songs, including a mother and daughter team or two.
Stanthorpe Little Theatre president Pauline Leigh, who is also one of the Stanthorpe Divas, was lyrical about the event.
“We’ll be covering songs from musical theatre hits plus songs from music genres of the 20th century, like pop (who doesn’t love a bit of ABBA and Queen), swing, country, reggae and rock‘n’roll – and the audience is encouraged to sing along and join the fun.
“For an entertaining evening of beautiful music and guaranteed lively banter, bring your friends and join me, Jill Lanyon, Natalee and Annaliese McCosker, Marissa and Isabella Patane, Megan Mahony and Sophie Sims,” Ms Leigh said.
Tickets are $20 adult and $15 concession, available from Maddie’s Gift Gallery at 37 Maryland Street, Stanthorpe and at the door of the Connor St Theatre.
Stanthorpe Little Theatre is also inviting people who like to dress up – and act up – to join them in the Apple and Grape Festival Parade on Saturday 8 March.
