Southern Downs Rifle Club

ON Sunday 17 November the Darling Downs Rifle Club held its prize meeting on the Warwick range.
Shooting were very lucky to have a fine day with the exception of the last range when it decided to rain for a short time.
The event was held over three ranges, over 300, 500 and 600 yards.
The field of about 50 entrants came from Brisbane, Gatton, Crows Nest and Toowoomba just to mention a few. It is believed that the threat of rain kept some competitors home.
The lunch was a great success and the proceeds will be donated to Toowoomba Hospice. Southern Downs Rifle Club donated the proceeds of a meat raffle to the Toowoomba Hospice.
Thankyou to all those who gave their time to make this a very successful event.
