Donald hot on the range

Sunday proved to be a red hot day for hot shots on the range in Inglewood.

Single action was the first event and Tom Donald continued his winning form when he outscored Craig Pilon and Craig Rowley.

The Pistol event was a Rimfire event and there were 12 eager competitors on deck. Once again it was Tom Donald who was on fire in the 30 round National Match Course.

Ray and Stephanie Dudgeon filled the minor placings

After the lunch break a five stand shotgun competition was won by Terry Fairbanks. In this event it was Stephanie and Michael Dudgeon who filled the placings.

During the lunch break members a short meeting to discuss the upcoming Zone Two Gallery Rifle Championships which will be held on the range on Sunday November 18.

A 90 round match using centrefire rifles chambered for pistol rounds, e.g. 32/20, 38/40/ .38, .357. 44/40 etc.

The range will be open on Saturday for practice from10.00 am. There will be a dinner Saturday night ($15.00pp). Bookings for the dinner are essential for to assist with catering for catering purposes. Overnight camping will be available and it is building as a fun shoot.
