Never too young or old

With an age group from 12 – 60-something on the Inglewood Sporting Shooters range last Sunday, it proved you are never too young or too old. Sunday turned out to be a great day with eight competitors in the 10 lane metallic silhouette muzzle loading shoot. There was some keen shooting and a final shootout for first place was required to determine the winner between Anthony Badesso and Tom Donald on the benchrest range using charging buffalo targets. It was neck and neck with Anthony scoring a nine, then Tom scoring a ten. Not to be outdone Anthony bounced back with a beautiful ten and Tom’s second shot went wild. A great shoot out. The results;- 1st Anthony Badesso; 2nd Tom Donald and 3rd Wayne Wright in his first muzzle loading competition. Junior Ashley Martin and Graham Morgan tied for 4th place. Ashley was firing a .32 calibre squirrel gun. The single action event was not held and will be passed over until next month. This week get ready for a benchrest shoot of all descriptions.
