Over 20 riders take the reins in pony club rally

Another successful rally day was conducted recently by the Killarney Pony Club, with about 25 riders participating in a variety of activities including the ever-popular novelties and showjumping.
Each rally day also includes horsemastership lessons, which encompass practical riding and horse care, enabling riders of all age groups to gain confidence in riding, handling and caring for their horses and ponies.
Their annual Campdraft is to be held at the Killarney Showgrounds on Saturday, September 10.  There will be a limit on numbers for the Campdraft, so please nominate early to avoid disappointment.
The Gymkhana will take place the following day, on Sunday, September 11, at the Killarney Polocrosse Grounds, starting at 8.30am. A canteen will be operating on both days.
