Fatal wounding in Warwick, public information sought

Police are investigating the fatal wounding of a man in Warwick overnight.

In a statement released earlier today – Sunday 5 April – Queensland Police Media said at 4am today police were called to an address on Glen Road and found a man with a head and chest wounds.

“The 38-year-old Warwick man was pronounced deceased at the scene,” the police statement said.

“A crime scene was declared.

“A short time later police attended a second address in Warwick and located a man who is assisting with enquires.

“It is believed the men were known to each other.

“Investigators are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Glen Road around 4am and may have witnessed any activity to contact police.

“The investigation is ongoing.”
