The Warwick TAB outlet on Grafton Street was closed down this week due to what Tabcorp says is “declining turnover and the agency coming to the end of its lease”.
A notice was posted on the doors yesterday, Wednesday 31 July, and workers were observed clearing equipment out of the premises earlier today.
A Tabcorp spokesman said there are “four remaining TAB venues in Warwick, three of which are in close proximity to the Grafton Street agency’s location”.
“And of course customers are able to bet with us via the TAB app and website,” the spokesman said.
“The remaining agencies are the Horse and Jockey, the Criterion Hotel, the Condamine Sports Clubs the Warwick RSL”.
