Three Chamberlain tractors that will be joined by another 20 participating in the ‘Grainshed Group Tractor Trek’ to Queen Mary Falls on Saturday 7 March.

The Grainshed Machinery Group Inc was formed in June 2019 by a group of likeminded old machinery enthusiasts interested in preserving farm machinery, stationary motors and tractors while enjoying the company of the people with similar interests.

The group operates out of the historic Freestone Grainshed on Freestone Road near the hall, holding regular engine display days at the Grainshed. Certain days are open to the public, with a gold coin donation entry and a sausage sizzle and drinks are available – contact Leo Ryan on 0400 198 070 for dates and information.

The Tractor Trek will be leaving the Grainshed on Saturday 7 March around 8am and winding its way through Yangan, stopping at the Swanfels Pioneer Park for morning tea, then off to Queen Mary Falls travelling through Emu Vale, Tannymorel, Mt Colliery and Killarney.

After lunch the tractors will head back to Killarney for a well-earned rest and dinner before camping for the night.

On the Sunday the trek will meander back to the Grainshed through Swan Creek arriving for an early lunch before heading home.
