Australian Professional Rodeo Association historian – and Hall of Fame member – Peter Poole kindly handed on some historic photos from the Warwick Rodeo to the Free Times recently.
The black and white shots capture the stirring heritage that is the Warwick Rodeo and Campdraft and are a true glimpse back in time – but even today the cowboys and bucking stock still combine to try and prove the old saying wrong – “Never the horse that couldn’t be rode, never the rider that couldn’t be throwed”…
