The 2018 Bony Mountain Folk Festival will honour an Aussie legend by featuring a Slim Dusty theme – dedicating the whole weekend to remembering the man, his life and his legacy.
The Festival started this week with the main events this weekend, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September.
Anne Kirkpatrick – Slim’s daughter – Dianne Lindsay and members of Slim’s Travelling Band – Rod Coe and Mike Kerin – are all attending and will perform two shows during the weekend, on the Saturday night from 7pm and on Sunday morning from 11am.
Another highlight will be the dedication of a new Memorial Stone for Slim at 1pm on Saturday.
