Focus on farmers’ mental health

Primary producers in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions are invited to attend a free ‘Rural Minds’ workshop at Freestone next Wednesday 29 August and have a chat about mental health in rural Australia.

The Southern Downs Regional Council, in conjunction with Queensland Health and Headspace Warwick, will host the half-day Rural Minds from 12pm to 4pm next Wednesday at the Freestone Memorial Hall.

The workshop will be a relaxed way to learn about mental wellbeing and resilience for you, your family, friends and community.

Specifically designed for rural and remote communities, and delivered by people who know what it’s like out here, Rural Minds is just good, solid, practical, information without all the bull… dust.
