Australia Post has been pleased to announce that Killarney post office has been recognised as one of this year’s Australia Post Licensee Awards recipients for its excellence in delighting its customers.
Taking fifth place for Queensland, the Killarney post office received the award for excellence in customer service and post office operations, as well as its contribution to its local community.
Australia Post State manager Anita Britcher said the Killarney post office was a deserving winner.
“Post offices play such an important role in our communities, providing our customers with ease, choice and convenience in accessing important services,” she said.
“It’s only fitting that we recognise and celebrate the wonderful service they continue to provide their customers every day, and Killarney post office has been at the heart of the local Killarney community.
“Our customers can already access a range of services across our post office network, and we’re happy to confirm Australia Post will continue to offer passport services until 30 June 2018.”
Rounding out the top five post offices in Queensland were: 1. Glass House Mountains; 2. Allingham; 3. Wellers Hill; 4. West Ipswich; 5. Killarney.
