Truck rollover closes Cunningham Highway

UPDATE, 4.15PM: Motorists should delay travel on the Cunningham Highway where possible this afternoon and evening following a B-double rollover near the helipad on the eastern side of Cunningham’s Gap earlier today.
A B-double carrying a load of yeast tipped onto its side shortly before 11.30am today. It is understood the driver was not transported to hospital and emergency crews contained a fuel leak.
Police Media said the Cunningham Highway will be closed for approximately an hour at 5.30pm today, Wednesday 30 March, while a crane is used to right the vehicle.
The highway at the location is currently down to one lane under traffic control and delays are being experienced.
The Free Times understands the truck is operated by McColl’s Transport, based in Geelong.
