A welcome drop

Steady wet conditions are expected to persist until Thursday.

The unfamiliar sound of rain on the roof is likely to continue until Thursday on the Southern Downs and Granite Belt.
Good falls overnight Monday through to this morning were recorded across the region, particularly north-west of Warwick, with Victoria Hill near Allora officially receiving 52mm.
A severe thunderstorm warning is current for the Toowoomba, Crows Nest and Esk areas but steady rain is expected to continue to fall through the day in our own region.
Showers and possible storms are forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday and into Thursday, contracting back to showers on Friday and across the weekend.
