Meeting will decide Wolves’ future

By Jeremy Sollars

“NO committee – no club – no football” is the simple message from the Warwick District Football Association ahead of its AGM tonight, Monday 5 December.
Fears are building there could be no junior and senior season in 2017 unless a new committee of office bearers is formed.
Many of the current long-serving committee members have decided to take a break and new volunteers are required to step up.
The association held its AGM last Monday 28 November but adjourned it until tonight due to a lack of committee nominations.
In the 2016 season the Warwick Wolves had 530 junior and senior playing members and fielded four teams in Toowoomba football, under-18 colts, two men’s teams and a ladies’ team.
The colts and ladies both made the grand finals.
All those interested are urged to attend the new Wolves AGM tonight, Monday 5 December, at Char-Belas Restaurant on Grafton Street, Warwick, next to the cinema, at 6.30pm.
