Weekly farmers’ market kicks off

The inaugural Yangan Farmers' Market will be held this Sunday 13 November.

LOCAL fresh produce will be the flavour of the inaugural Yangan Farmers’ Market to be held this Sunday 13 November.
The Yangan Farmers’ Market aims to support and stimulate profitable trading, viability and business growth of independent primary producers, hobby farmers, community and home gardeners and associated artisanal value-adders in and around Yangan.
Organisers say the market will also contribute to the economic and social vibrancy of Yangan and surrounding districts.
Come along to the Yangan Farmers’ Market at Yangan Park – aka Bicentennial Park – on King Street at Yangan every Sunday from 8am until noon and source farm-produced and artisan-made food along with plants, poultry and a multitude of sundry items direct from Yangan farmers, our families, farm staff and others.
Organisers are still keen to secure a few more stalls, particularly farm fresh eggs and honey and any other forms of fresh produce. The stall fee is just $5.50.
If you can supply produce or you’ve got another idea for a stall, visit Yangan Farmers’ Market on Facebook and send a message, or go to yanganfarm.com.au or call Margaret on 0400 830 391.
