RODEO street events will be missing from this year’s Warwick Rodeo celebrations but the ever-popular Warwick Potters Country Craft Market is still on in Leslie Park on Saturday.
Warwick Potters’ Association president Ray Tainton said the ditching of the street parade and Mardi Gras had only caused a handful of regular stallholders to drop out this year and there would still be plenty to see and buy.
“We’re still looking at 150 plus stall this year,” he said.
“Once again this year it will all be good quality merchandise – it’s mostly home-made and hand-made.
“There will also be plenty of food options this year as always and we are looking forward to a good day.”
Mr Tainton said there would be a few new stall vendors this year including someone from the Gold Coast who specialises in camphor laurel furniture.
There are still a few vacant spots left for stallholders from the local area.
Inquiries to Ray Tainton on 4661 1211 before the end of Friday.
The Warwick Potters Country Craft Market in Leslie Park will run from 8am to 2pm on Saturday 29 October.
