16 counts of rape of underage child

A 36-YEAR-OLD Warwick man charged with 16 counts of rape involving a child under the age of 16 has had his case adjourned in the Warwick Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The man, who cannot be named in order to protect the alleged victim, is also charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one of entering a dwelling and committing an indictable offence, along with one count of possessing a drug utensil.
He is currently on bail awaiting a further appearance in the court on 1 November.
