Rush to the biggest and best stampede

Maggie Stokes and country legend Lee Conway.

SOME of the best music talents around will be at the 7th Clifton/ Goomburra Country Music Stampede from Friday through to Sunday, says host Maggie Stokes.
The event will be held at the Clifton Showgrounds this year and Maggie has called it her “biggest and best line-up”.
“After a year of horse handling, breaking, music benefits, cancer concerts and also entertaining in our aged facilities I am looking forward to meeting all old friends,” she said.
“Because of the venue change interest has gone sky high with powered sites, hot showers, enough room for hundreds of vans, tents and mobile homes.
“The indoor pavilion gives great security against extreme hot or wet and cold weather.
“Special artists such as TV legend Lee Conway will appear on Saturday night and will perform with Lucky Starr. This will be a not to be missed show.
“Golden Guitar winners such as the fabulous Evelyn Bury Graham Rodger and Laura Downing will be performing over the weekend.
“Artists from all over Australia have made time in their busy workload and they are all keen to be involved.
“Local artists and walk ups are keen to compete.
“Come along and make this one of the greatest local country music festivals – we need our tourism to keep growing.
“Bring your chairs and full catering is available on site and with local food vans. Sunday is only $10 entry and you will see some of the artists who are still on the grounds.”
