Taxi driver armed robbery

Police investigations continue.

POLICE are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a taxi driver at Warwick on Thursday night.
Queensland police media said at 7.30pm the taxi driver picked up a passenger outside a shopping centre on Grafton Street who asked to be taken to a park on Park Road.
On arrival of the destination, the passenger produced a knife and demanded money, however a struggle ensued which resulted in the taxi driver receiving a cut to the hand.
“The passenger then exited the vehicle with the knife and without any cash from the driver,” they alleged.
“The passenger has been described as a boy in his mid-teens, of Aboriginal appearance, 160 centimetres tall with dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a baseball cap which was yellow at the front, a dark coloured hoodie, dark coloured tracksuit pants and black shoes.”
