High-energy fire spectacle

Fire performer Neal Webb of Energy Entertainments, Gold Coast.

KILARNEY Bonfire Night is taking its old favourites – a huge bonfire, dragons and amazing fireworks by Southern Downs Regional Council – to a new location at Killarney Recreation Club.
The team has also announced some exciting new features as part of this year’s event.
Fire performer Neal Webb of Energy Entertainments, Gold Coast, is coming along to heat up the Killarney crowd.
The show is described as a high energy fire spectacle with two world-class fire performers and the most rhythmic man in the business.
It promises to captivate even the most imperturbable of people and leave the audience amazed and entertained.
Visitors travel from all over south east Queensland to see the amazing creations of the Killarney fire drum creators.
Being part of the fun is easy – cut, weld or punch a 44 gallon drum into shape, get your entry form in by Thursday 21 July, and bring your drum out on the day.
Plenty of food on the grounds with a Taco Stand by Killarney Memorial Aged Care (KMAC), along with soup, hot chips, barbecue and mulled wine to warm the crowd.
The night is an official event of Jumpers and Jazz in July and a fund-raiser for KMAC.
Killarney Bonfire Night will be held on Saturday 23 July 2016 from 4.30pm to 9pm at the Killarney Recreation Club, Willow Street, Killarney.
