Winging it over Warwick

Packing up after a week of competition was John Orton from Benalla in Victoria.

WARWICK Gliding Club hosted an Easter Regatta at the Warwick Airfield from Easter through to 2 April.
Competitors came from NSW, Queensland and Victoria for the event.
With a low entry fee of just $30/glider, and provision for teams, the Warwick Gliding Club is a small, friendly gliding club located at the Warwick Airfield on the Darling Downs in South-East Queensland, Australia.
The club caters for glider pilots of all types, ranging from raw beginners to experienced competition pilots.
They have a clubhouse with overnight accommodation facilities, a tugplane, and single-seat and two-seat gliders. Hangarage is available for privately-owned gliders, of which there are quite a number housed at the airfield.
